What I’ve learnt through Oprah

“If you allow the past to define your present, then you never actually really get to live the life you were actually meant to live because you are holding on to what was; always holding on and defining yourself to to what was and what should have been, or what could have been.”

Sometimes it’s ok to cry

I don’t cry much, but there used to be a time that I did. We all bottle up feelings at some point or another. How do you vent those emotions? Crying is an intense surge of mixed emotions. It’s a way in which you don’t hurt others physically or through words you regret later on. For me, it’s a way of letting go. Crying rids the pain, so that the heart, soul, and mind is filled with less resentment, anger and frustration.

This article is beautifully written with insight that’ll make you realize that the next time you cry, “It’s ok”.

those who sow in tears shall reap in joy..
